Two more shots...

Here's a couple more pictures from Wellington airport. The first is an Origin Pacific Jetstream 31 just a couple of seconds before touchdown. The other is a Beech 77 Skipper from Wellington Flight Training. At first glance, the Skipper looks a bit like a Piper Tomahawk. If you're sober, it doesn't :-)

Hm the skipper looks interesting, it does kinda resemble a Tomahawk.

Not that interesting... I heard [and I might be wrong] that they cruise around 80-85 knots - even the Tomahawk gets along at 90-95 [which is still very slow] :-(

I was at Nelson airport in the weekend and I asked the guy at Repaircraft if I could go and take a few photos of the Jetstreams and he said "yea thats fine" so off I went. They are great planes the old jetstreams. The engines on all have recently been repocessed!!!!!
I will be posting the photos on www.flickr.com/photos/nzaviation by atleast mid march as I have to go to the chemist to get the film developed!
As I may have told you before I am writing a book on Origin Pacific and I would be very interested if your were willing to donate a couple of pictures of some Origin Pacific aircraft if you wanted.
