An IMC weekend

Instrument Meteorological Conditions [IMC] reign this weekend. Here's a picture out of my lounge window [I'm probably only 600-700 ft AMSL]. I hope it lifts tonight, as I'm due to fly out to Auckland tomorrow morning for a couple of days. Weather like this may mean no departure, especially if the B737 I'm due to fly on has to get in from Auckland or Christchurch first.

This weather reminds me of the fog encountered during a couple of years in Hamilton :-)

It's a good idea to come to Auckland - it's been lovely and sunny up here today :)

Our peat fog is never as thick as your sea fog.
