Robinson R22 beta and a Saab 340B

Wild and windy would describe Wellington today, with most GA type aircraft sitting on the ground. I did get to see one light visitor, a Robinson R22 beta, ZK-HMW which stopped off at the Club's fuel pump for a top up.

Also, Vincent Aviation's SAAB 340B, registration VH-UYA, was sitting outside which provided me with a good opportunity to grab a quick photo. According to the Australian register, this aircraft is is still owned/ operated by "Red Rocket Leasing", although I suspect that this will change to Vincent Aviation soon enough.

In other news, I'm registered to compete in the Flying NZ Cook area regional competitions later this month. I've entered into the Rotorua Trophy [Bombing competition :-)] and will also be running around trying to get large numbers of photos for the records and for this site.

Thanks for the Saab pics Rodney ... cant wait to see it in Vincent colours and maybe even a ZK rego if they decide to go down that path

No worries mate. I understand that the SAAB is going back to Aussie, so maybe no change in rego.
