Canterbury Aero Club PA28

Today's visitor to Wellington and the Wellington Aero Club was this Canterbury Aero Club Piper PA28-181, ZK-LJC. This aircraft has an Avidyne FlightMax Entegra panel. Nice!

Thanks to J for showing me around the cockpit before he left for Christchurch.

Pictures are outside of ZK-LJC, followed by the panel, and the left then right hand panels.

Hello Chris,

Yeah, pretty nice. I have not yet flown with one, although I have had a quick flight in a Garmin 1000 equipped C172 a while back.

Cheers,

Rodney

Nice aircraft. Have sat in a Garmin equipped C172 some months back.

Once you get used to the TV screens you then default to looking out of the window again - to see where you are going!!! In other words it is easy to become distracted when flying one of these and the airspace boundaries come up and tap you on the shoulder!!!
