Bob Jones' Cessna 510 Citation Mustang

I got a big of a score last Sunday afternoon soon after the Jetstar-branded DHC-8-315 taxied away from the Execujet hanger. The doors were open and I got to photograph what appears to be Bob Jones' Cessna 510 Citation Mustang [the Robt. Jones Holdings Limited titles on the side are a wee bit of a giveaway!]. The aircraft is on the Australian register as VH-KJG.

It will be good to see it out and flying one day - aircraft photos usually look better out in the sunshine...

Hey Rodney, what's the rego of King Air on the left hand side. Is it based or visiting?
Thanks in advance!

That's a great question!

I didn't actually get a rego for the aircraft, although looking at the NZ Flying Doctor titles and so forth, my best guess is ZK-FDN [http://flyinggeek.blogspot.co.nz/search?q=ZK-FDN], which would mean it is not resident. Not sure though, as Flightaware.com seems to show that the aircraft left NZWN on 28/8 and no return so far.

In short, I'm not sure :-)

Is this the plane that regularly shows up on FlightRadar24 flying around NZ with the call sign C510? If so, it just arrived in Gisborne at 0639hrs today, from Rotorua.

Good question Geoff. I'm not sure how it shows up on FR24, although there are a few other C510's floating around, so it could be one of them.
