More on the USAF C37A
I have just received another picture of the United States Air Force C37A [aka, military version of the Gulfstream V] from a "spotter in training" [thanks Ging!] today :-). This picture was taken as the aircraft vacated runway 16 at Whiskey 2.
futher to Anonymous's comment on the other post 01-0065 was in CHC yesterday afternoon along with 01-0029 which arrived from SYD. So keep an eye out Rodney, and ZK-ARJ cause they both may be in Wellington again later in the week.
I didn't think the Whiskey taxiways were angled for "fast" exits - but I see he still has his thrust reversers deployed!
ReplyDeleteThey are not angled. What is interesting is that earlier pictures on the runway, the reversers were not deployed...
ReplyDeleteI am wondering if the aircraft had actually exited later on the runway and crossed at 5 to W2 rather than directly at W2. I dunno though.
