This short video shows me flying overhead Paraparaumu airfield [ICAO code NZPP] in February. This was part of a fun flight from Wellington, around Kapiti Island, overhead NZPP and back to Wellington.

My log book tells me my first flight from Paraparumu was January 22, 1958 in DC 3 ZK–AOH with the late Capt Russ Carleton.

I bet it looked a big different back then - I'm guessing all three sealed runways woiuld have been available?
The housing would have been a bit futher back also!
