Masterton aerodrome is one of those places that is really nice to fly from. On any given day there can be microlights, helicopters, agricultural aircraft, turbines, parachutists, reproduction WW1, and genuine WW11 fighters. Brand new trainees, right through to experienced airline pilots. Quite a mix.
Today was fairly quiet, but there was still some variety. As examples, take a look at the following from a couple of hours in Masterton earlier today:
Tecnam P2002 Sierra, ZK-MVT, registered to Wairarapa & Ruahine Aero Club
de Havilland DH82a Tiger Moth, ZK-BLV, registered to a Wellington address
Piper PA18 Pacer, ZK-BKV, registered to Ace Aviation
British Aerospace Jetstream 31, ZK-JSH, registered to Vincent Aviation
Cessna 510 Mustang, ZK-PGA, registered to Pacific Jets
