Club trip to Masterton - WAC aircraft

Yesterday evening it was suggested that I might want to fly a Piper PA38-112 Tomahawk to Masterton [NZMS] today. Apparently, the Club needed someone to help get an aircraft over there and back. Hmm, well, ok....

So it was an early-ish start to the day, down to the Club before 8am. After all the preflight and other prep activities, I took off on and headed to Masterton. It was a dual flight with a Club instructor, and after arriving and a couple of circuits, we stopped and caught up with those who had driven over.

The following photos are of the three Club aircraft that were there. ZK-JFE was my ride over and back. ZK-FML [another Piper Tomahawk] is based in Masterton, and lastly Piper PA28-161, ZK-MBG.
