The American Hanger at Duxford must be incredible strong. When you look around, you see a large number of aircraft suspended from the ceiling, and not only small aircraft.
In this second post, we go from World War One through to a current day combat aircraft [Hello Australia]. Top to bottom are:
Boeing Stearman PT17
Spad S13
Lockheed SR71A Blackbird
Douglas DC3 Dakota
Boeing B17G Flying Fortress
General Dynamics F111E
It's wonderful to climb the liquid mountains of the sky, Behind me and before me is God and I have no fears.
