OK, here are a number of photos of from the Mosquito launch airshow. Instead of my usual tactic of only detailing a few aircraft at time, I'm publishing a "random" assortment of aircraft from throughout the day. Some old, some newer, all interesting in their own right.
I hope you enjoy these, and yes, there are a few Mosquito pictures in here if you look hard :-)

Avro Anson!
It's been just over a week, but finally, another couple of posts from the Mosquito launch airshow at Ardmore!
This time around it's another recently rebuilt warbird, this time the Avro Anson, ZK-RRA, based at Nelson. This is an awesome aircraft - quite different to the Mossie, but impressive in its own right. This aircraft always looks like it has too much perspex at the front and on the sides, but I guess the visibility is great, and what's not to love about a gun turret?!!!
Here is a picture of the Anson about to touch down.

Mosquito!!!
Of all the people that went to the Mosquito launch airshow at Ardmore [NZAR] last weekend, I must be able to last person to post any photos :-)
After coming home from the UK on Monday 24th, I then left for a long weekend in Auckland on Friday 29th [and yes, I'm enjoying being home right now!]. The key attraction of course was the only public display of the de Havilland DH98 Mosquito F.B Mk 26, ZK-MOS!
Being Ardmore, and one of the main "Warbird" airfields in New Zealand, this was always going to be a good show, including a wide range of other aircraft, but there was no doubt who the star of the show was! Mind you, a Blunty and an Avro Anson were pretty big attractions in their own right.
Anyway, there will be a whole lot of photos of the airshow over the next few days, but to start off, how about a few Mosquito pictures? Here we go!
