A couple of microlights

Here are pictures of two microlights that I took photos of when in Nelson a while back. The first is a "Moyes Dragonfly C" and the second is a "Rans S-6ES Coyote II". Both of these are registered in the "Microlight Class 2" category. Personally, I think the first one would be the most interesting to fly [even if presumably a little slow.... and cold!].

Wimp :-) Looks like it has a balistic chute though - that could be useful!

On a slightly different note, CAA website's weekly accident (28 August) indicates that ZK-ROY had a landing incident recently.

Looks like circuits with the last one resulting in the left main wheel breaking free. Bummer.

ROY is based at Nelson...I think it's operated by the Nelson club President. I've seen it doing circuits the odd time.
