It's not my photo this time, so "thanks" and a big pretend chocky bar to Silke for sending it and allow me to put it up! :-)

NZ Post Fokker F27 Friendship
Here's a picture of what is believed to be an NZ Post Fokker F27 Friendship at Wellington recently. The photo was taken from some distance away and being night it's a little grainy, but it's not too bad.

Ahhh good old ZK-PAX, nice to see some good old F27 action again (not that I've been gone form it for that long)
PAX would've been on Post20 BHE-WLG-AKL.
I do miss the sound of the F27 droaning over town on its way to WLG at 2130 every week night.
Ahhh, thanks for the rego details!
I remember watching these start up at Wanganui many years ago when the freight they carried was of the self-loading variety ;-) Very very noisy... good :-)
Here's my daylight pic of PAX at Auckland. I see it every time I visit Auckland, though I've never seen it 'in action'.
I also just came across this rather interesting video on YouTube, and photos of it in a previous life. That shot of it in white was most likely just prior to delivery to AirWork judging by the date.
