Although I don't claim to be a fan [and never will], the event is a big one for Wellington with two concerts planned.

AC/DC flies in on an Airbus A318 Elite
Today's "unusual" visitor is an Airbus A318-112 CJ Elite. Although the rego is obscured, I believe that this is 9H-AFL, registered to Comlux Aviation Malta. The aircraft bought in the members of AC/DC [some small unknown music group or something ... :-)] and a few hangers on.

I know the 319 is a short bird, but that wide angle makes it look positively ridiculous!
Actually, it's an A318, so only 31.44 meters long. Some details on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbus_A320_family
Cheers!

Sure is ACDC's magic carpet for their trip and is 9H-AFL. Due to NZAA 31Jan.
Are those guys really still around?!?! Hope the plane was younger than they are!
; )
Ha ha ha... well, it is an A318, so it's decades younger than they are :-)
Found it! I was looking for this back when you posted, but couldn't find it then.
And specifically in regard to this post...
