After coming home from the UK on Monday 24th, I then left for a long weekend in Auckland on Friday 29th [and yes, I'm enjoying being home right now!]. The key attraction of course was the only public display of the de Havilland DH98 Mosquito F.B Mk 26, ZK-MOS!
Being Ardmore, and one of the main "Warbird" airfields in New Zealand, this was always going to be a good show, including a wide range of other aircraft, but there was no doubt who the star of the show was! Mind you, a Blunty and an Avro Anson were pretty big attractions in their own right.
Anyway, there will be a whole lot of photos of the airshow over the next few days, but to start off, how about a few Mosquito pictures? Here we go!

No, you're not the last. I haven't put my blog post up yet, been slow to process my images. Hope to do so shortly
Man it was hard to shoot that plane with my crappy camera. It was so fast I couldn't pan fast enough to keep it in focus.
Yeah, I was on the other side of the airfield, and the worst thing for me was the light. Apart from that, AWESOME! :-)
