The American Hanger at the Imperial War Museum was pretty darn flash! At the entry is an McDonnell Douglas F15A Eagle. What is more impressive though is the sight of the absolutely massive Boeing B52D Stratofortress that dominates the skyline as you entry the hanger. WOW! I wasn't able to get even one photo that included the entire aircraft... much as I tried! :-)
In this first of 3 posts from the hanger, the following aircraft are featured:
McDonnell Douglas F15A Eagle
Boeing B52D Stratofortress
North American F100D Super Sabre
Boeing B29 Superfortress
Lockheed T33A
McDonnell Douglas F4J Phantom II
It's wonderful to climb the liquid mountains of the sky, Behind me and before me is God and I have no fears.
