This weather reminds me of the fog encountered during a couple of years in Hamilton :-)

An IMC weekend
Instrument Meteorological Conditions [IMC] reign this weekend. Here's a picture out of my lounge window [I'm probably only 600-700 ft AMSL]. I hope it lifts tonight, as I'm due to fly out to Auckland tomorrow morning for a couple of days. Weather like this may mean no departure, especially if the B737 I'm due to fly on has to get in from Auckland or Christchurch first.

It's a good idea to come to Auckland - it's been lovely and sunny up here today :)
Dude, we love fog in Hamilton!! anyway, it's free water injection for your engine!
Our peat fog is never as thick as your sea fog.
Needless to say, it was a beatiful day in Wellington [and Auckland]!
