I had the pleasure of a backseat ride in the Piper today, while Kai was being shown some basic IFR procedures - the hold at Paraparaumu [NZPP] and an NDB/ DME approach. A lot of fun obviously for me sitting in the back. The two scenic photos are of Paraparaumu township and of NZPP aerodrome.
Other news is that if the weather remains good for this evening, I'm off on a dual night flight - the start of a night rating!
